Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Kyncept collects when you use kyncept.com and our creation tools (the “Service”), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It should be read with our Terms of Service.
Data we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. If you sign in by email link, we store your email address.
- Content you submit and create. Prompts, uploaded images, video and audio, project data, and the images, videos, music and 3D models generated for you.
- Payment data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your subscription status, plan and billing history, and a customer reference; we do not receive or store your full card number.
- Usage and device data. Pages viewed, features used, credits spent, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, collected through our own logs, cookies and analytics tools (Google Analytics and Umami).
- Moderation records. The result of automated content screening of prompts and images, and records of refused requests.
- Communications. Messages you send to our support address and the emails we send you.
How we use it
- to provide the Service: sign you in, run your generations, store your files and keep your credit balance;
- to process payments and manage subscriptions;
- to keep the Service safe: screen prompts and images against our Content Policy, prevent abuse and fraud, and enforce our Terms;
- to send service emails such as receipts, account notices and, where permitted, product updates you can opt out of;
- to understand how the Service is used and improve it;
- to comply with legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing and billing.
- Google — sign-in, and website analytics.
- OpenAI — automated content-safety screening: prompts and images are sent to OpenAI’s moderation service to be checked against our Content Policy before generation.
- AI model and infrastructure providers — the prompts and files needed to produce a generation are sent to the provider running the model you chose; files are stored with our cloud hosting and storage providers.
- Email delivery providers — to send account and service emails.
We may also disclose data when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others — including reporting child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities — or as part of a merger or acquisition of our business.
Storage and visibility of files
Uploaded and generated files are stored with our cloud storage provider and served from content-delivery URLs. Anyone who has the direct URL of a file can open it, so share those links with care.
Retention
We keep account data and your content for as long as your account is active. When you delete content or ask us to close your account, we delete or anonymise the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep it longer — for example billing records for tax and accounting, and moderation and enforcement records needed to prevent abuse or meet legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage analytics cookies through your browser settings. To make a request, email us from the address on your account; we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the date above.
